What many people do not know, is that Kent Jeffrey did a lot of significant, firsthand investigating of his own into Roswell. A pilot himself, Jeffrey's father, ironically, knew even Roswell's then Base Commander, Colonel Blanchard.

When Jeffrey conducted his investigation, he discovered, much to his shock and dismay, 1) That the then Top Secret Project Mogul caused the real event in question, 2) that much of the so-called "hard evidence" often heavily promoted and hyped by the UFO community over the years, just does not hold up under critical investigation!

Jeffrey asked me if I wanted to assume legal possession of his efforts because for him the issue was now settled. The real cause of Roswell had been found, finally, and although it was personally disappointing, it was the truth nonetheless. The challenge now, if worth even bothering with, was to get some of those in the often emotional UFO community to accept the obvious evidence and case for Project Mogul. Most importantly, face the unfortunate facts that their oft-touted "hard evidence" for Roswell does not exist, and has never existed, for a variety of reasons.

It is important that the field learn lessons from the "why" of these reasons, so that it does not become victimized again by its own lack of critical thinking, at the simultaneous expense of its own credibility.

For those who seriously believe that the "truth about Roswell" involves the secret crash and recovery of extraterrestrials and their spacecraft, please click on URLs below and explore the data to your heart's content. This information, which has never received the exposure and credit it deserves, is just the first release of what will be an ongoing series exposing Roswell for what it is, for the historic record.

Expect in the coming months several different contributors, and to examine sides of the Roswell controversy often neglected by the mainstream media and UFO "believers." The days of blatant, careless exploitation of the Roswell myth are over. The documentation of its demise will be featured on this web site. Expect a very busy end of 1999, and a very loud year 2000 with the newly updated release of the book "The Roswell UFO Crash: What They Don't Want You to Know," which is coming out in paperback.

While some of the content contained in this web site is admittedly blunt, the best efforts have been made to insure that it is accurate and truthful. References and hyperlinks are provided where practical.

I want to stress that anyone and everyone is welcome to contribute to the contents of this web site. Over time, this web site will become a true, accurate historical archive designed to document what really happened in and around Roswell in June-July 1947, of events surrounding the alleged "UFO crash" and purported cover-up that is so widely alleged.

Regardless of what each of us believes concerning Roswell, no one would disagree that it is important to document the truth about what really happened where possible. That is and remains the fundamental objective of this web site, and it is in the spirit of what Mr. Jeffrey had in mind when he asked me to carry on his own quest for communicating the truth about Roswell to everyone interested.
